Banana Speaker Plugs 4mm Gold Plated 2 x Red 2 x Black

Excellent Value, pack of 4 gold plated banana plugs for speaker wire terminations.

4 plugs are included in this pack which is enough to terminate the cable at each end for one speaker.

Normally two plugs are required for the connections to the amplifier and two for the connections to the speaker. If your amp or speakers have binding posts without holes for plugs then you may only need two plugs per speaker. These great value banana plugs are gold plated to ensure a low resistance connection. Suitable for round speaker cable up to 4mm squared.

These plugs are particularly suitable for our own speaker cable. Use them with our 1.5mm, 2.5mm and 4mm speaker cable. The photographs show how the plugs can be fitted to our 2.5mm 322 strand cable. Simply strip off 6mm of the outer sheath and double the bare copper back. Undo the banana plug screw fully and insert the bare cable. Hold down firmly and tighten the securing screw.

For 4mm cable it is not necessary to double back the bare copper. Strip off 3mm of the outer sheath, twist the copper and insert directly into the plug.
