Description
Mains power switch suitable for many brands of LCD and LED televisions. This switch also has many general purpose applications where a compact mains rocker switch is required.
This particular switch is often fitted at the base, rear or side of many LCD televisions and functions as the mains power switch. The switch originally fitted often fails leading to a dead or intermittent dead set.
Replacement of this switch is quite straightforward and often no soldering is required as the cables attached are terminated in 4.8mm crimp terminal which mate directly onto the switch.
In some cases the cables are soldered onto the switch so some extra skills are required to tackle its replacement.
The switch type fitted is DPST - double pole single throw which means that both the live and neutral are isolated from the internal circuit when switched off.
