Vestel VES400UNDS-01 LED Strip Kit For LCD Televisions, 5 Strips, 1xC, 2xA, 2xB

​Genuine Vestel LED bar / strip for LED back lit televisions.

The original reference on ths strip is 42FHD-L NDV REV0.2A Type 2013.

The strip contains 8 LEDs with different spacing, this strip is the Type A that is fitted to the edges of the display unit. They are fitted in positions 1,2,4 and 6.

This particular strip is used in many models manufactured by Vestel for other manufacturers, an example being Hitachi.

This strip is fitted to the Vestel LCD panel type: VES420UNDL. There are 6 identical looking strips in total fitted to the panel. Please note though that there is a Type A and a Type C strip. They have slightly different LED spacing though are electrically the same.

In order to identify if this is the strip that you require please check the reference number on the defective strip and measure its dimensions and LED spacing.

Considerable skill and expertise is required to strip down the set and replace the defective LED strips. We recommend checking out the instructional videos available on YouTube for LED TV strip testing and replacement.

It is thoroughly recommended that you use external batteries such as 2 x AA in series to test the individual LEDs.

The point to note is that the LEDs are wired in series so if one strip goes open circuit then none of the strips will light. It is also very common with this type of strip for LED's to go short circuit and not illuminate which can cause dull patches in the picture.
