This signal amplifier is a useful inline type that can be installed anywhere in your cable run to boost the signal.

Normally the amplifier would be inserted roughly half way along a cable run although good results can sometimes be achieved when fitted at the receiver end.

The solid metal case on this amp is waterproff so it can be mounted indorrs or outdoors. Waterproof tape will be needed for an outdoor installation to protect the F connectors from corroding. Ideally th whole amp should be covered in tape.

This amplifier unit is great for improving signal quality and strength when long cable runs are in place between your satellite dish and receiver. If you are experiencing signal drop out even after your dish has optimum alignment then this amplifier may improve the situation.
