2SD1047 & 2SB817
NPN planar power transistors supplied as a complimentary pair. When one
transistor has failed it is advised to replace both. Please note one of
each of the following transistors is supplied.
2SD1047 NPN silicon planar transistor. This transistor is a power transistor commonly used in many models of audio amplifier output stages. It is commonly found in, for example, Rotel and Nad models but can be used in most domestic audio amplifiers as the NPN output device. This transistor the 2SD1047 normally compliments the 2SB817 PNP device.
The transistor rating is as follows:
- Collector-Emitter Voltage, Vceo: 140V
- Collector-Base Voltage, Vcbo: 160V
- Emitter-Base Voltage, Vebo: 6.0V
- Power Dissipation @ 25 Centigrade: 100W
- Operating Temperature Range: -55 to 150 Degrees Centigrade

It is commonly found in, for example, Rotel and Nad models but can be used in most domestic audio amplifiers as the PNP output device. This transistor the 2SB817 normally compliments the 2SD1047 NPN device.
