​2 way satellite / cable TV / terrestrial aerial F splitter.

This zinc diecast splitter unit can be used to split an RF signal into two for feeding two different receivers. The input and output ports are zinc plated for extra durability and longer life when used in damp and cold conditions.

This splitter design uses F connectors for both the input and output connections for a superior connection and less signal loss.

The frequency range is 5Mhz - 2400Mhz which means this splitter covers the whole RF band used for television viewing purposes including cable TV, terrestrial TV and satellite transmissions.

The most common application for this splitter is to feed two cable TV boxes such as Virgin Media boxes from one incoming feed. This style of splitter is also the professional installers choice for splitting TV RF signals due to its tough construction and the use of F sockets which provide a superior connection, especially when DC is being passed through the splitter.

Each output port has a DC pass which is useful in applications where the receiver passes power to the headend such as satellite receivers. Please note though that passing power from both output ports can cause reception problems as both receivers cannot control an LNB at the same time.

Two securing screws are supplied to aid fixing to a flat surface.

An external ground connection is also provided which may be optionally connected.
