The cable is a standard Cat5e specification and has an FTP - Foil Twisted Pair construction. This is superior to UTP - Unshielded Twisted Pair.

The cable weighs an impressive 830g which is far heavier than the cheaper UTP cables generally on sale. The cable size is 24AWG.

This great quality cable has gold plated anti snag RJ45 network plugs fitted. The cable is made from network cable with a flexible PVC outer jacket with strong strain relief at each end for optimal protection and a longer service life.

The RJ45 connectors are made from 24K gold plated material which ensures superior signal transfer and great corrosion resistance.

A network / ether net cross cable is ideal for situations where two computers need to be connected together in a network environment without the need for a switch or router.
